Don't Even

I run, I walk, I climb, I crawl.
I sing my songs, dream along.
You wonder; oh, I wonder, too,
If I’m okay this way. Don’t even.

You’ve got my back, keep me on track.
You know the line, see the signs.
I am, you know, quite so:
Quiet soul.

I can tell that I am fine.
Nothing says to speak my mind.
Something tells me to keep quiet.
Every day I’m feeling more alive.

The salesman view that I owe you.
Jolly grand, good fellow, too.
So knock me down, you’re so cool.
Like I’m a fool.

So I’m a spiritual sifter
And a sensible listener
A bit of a drifter.
